1. Cleaning method under normal circumstances. The thermostat should be removed first, and the bypass hole of the water outlet elbow on the cylinder head should be blocked. The direction of the flushing water flow is opposite to the circulating direction of the coolant when the diesel engine is working, until the flushing is done.
2. Cleaning method for serious scale. In order to ensure the cooling effect of the diesel engine cooling system, make the diesel engine work normally, and increase the service life of the diesel engine, the scale in the radiator of the diesel engine should be removed in time.
The specific cleaning method is:
Pour the configured cleaning fluid {Table 2-9) into the radiator, then start the diesel engine, and then turn off the engine after running at medium speed for about 10 minutes. Wait for 10-12 hours and then restart the diesel engine, run at medium speed for about 10 minutes, turn off the engine, and release the cleaning fluid. After adding clean coolant, start the diesel engine and run it at medium speed for a few minutes. Repeat this two or three times to remove the scale.
