Brief description of diesel generator set injection pump and governor disassembly and inspection

Injection pump, governor assembly before each part to clean, and check the plunger coupling, the oil valve coupling model whether the model corresponds to the injection pump, assembly process precautions are as follows.

(1) assembly of the plunger coupling, the plunger should be pulled out and inserted carefully, accurately, do not touch the hair, the plunger flange bump on the word “XY” should be installed facing outward, after the installation of the plunger, the positioning screw aligned with the plunger sleeve positioning groove tightened, at this time pull the plunger sleeve should be able to move up and down, but not left and right rotation.

(2) installation of the oil valve tight seat, the tightening torque of 39-68N-m, too large to make the plunger sleeve deformation, the sliding of the plunger coupling is affected, so tighten the plunger should be pulled up and down sliding and left and right rotation test, if the blocking phenomenon can be loosened back to the oil valve seat several times, and then tighten to slide freely.

(3) plunger coupling, oil valve coupling and oil valve tight seat, etc., should be installed, the oil pump body upper sealing test, the test method is to block the oil outlet, with a tool plate to hold the plunger so as not to slide down, the inlet port into the pressure of 3.9MPa (40kgf/cm2) or more diesel fuel, hold 1min, the pressure gauge pointer shall not have a significant drop, at this time the joint threads, plunger sleeve At this time, no diesel oil shall leak from the threads of the joints, the scapular surface and the surface of the pump body.

(4) After installing the camshaft of the Ba pump, check the axial clearance of the camshaft, the value of which is 0.03~0.15mm. If it cannot be adjusted by shims, but the thickness of the shims added at both ends must be equal to ensure that the camshaft is placed in the middle position.

(5) When assembling the two fly irons of the governor, pay attention to the pin rings at both ends of the fly iron pins and clamp them tightly with carp pliers to avoid the danger of the fly iron pins falling off and flying out, and when rotating after installation, the fly iron should be able to swing around the fly iron pins by its own centrifugal force, without any jamming or blocking.

(6) injection pump and governor assembly installed, push the speed control handle tension spring, the adjustment gear rod in the maximum oil supply position, so that the distance between the tie rod screw and tie rod support block 0.5 ~ 1mm, the purpose is to check the adjustment gear Xuan, so that its maximum oil supply position to ensure that the oil volume limit screw touch, but also in order to spin out the oil volume limit screw when necessary to properly increase the oil supply, but this distance Not too large, otherwise the speed of the governor will increase the speed of action.

After the disassembly of the injection pump and governor, all parts need to be cleaned and inspected, and the contents and methods are as follows.

(1) the plunger coupling sliding test and diameter sealing test.

The so-called sliding test is the plunger coupling is tilted 45 degrees, pull out the plunger with the cylindrical surface of about 1/3, and the plunger rotate a little, let go of the Du plugs can slide down on their own without hindrance that is qualified.

Plunger coupling diameter sealing test should generally be carried out on the sealing test bench. For the sake of convenience, the user can also use the simple seal comparison method. First of all, make the plunger slanting groove use section aligned with the location of the oil return hole, and then block the plunger sleeve finger large end hole and another into the oil hole, and then slowly advance the letter plugs, when the plunger end surface to reach the oil return hole on the edge (that is, the cover did not oil hole) when observing the oil return hole. There should be no oil froth and bubbles, does not meet the requirements for failure.

Plunger coupling after long-term use, the surface has serious wear, oblique groove and straight groove flaking or rust should be replaced, the upper end surface of the plunger sleeve, such as rust, available chromium oxide grinding paste on the plate gently grinding repair.

(2) Check whether there are scars, concave and wear on the sealing cone surface of the outlet valve and the outlet valve seat, and the minor ones can be repaired. Firstly, apply alumina grinding paste on the cone surface and rotate and grind it back and forth until a good seal is achieved. Severe cases should be replaced. The oil valve coupling nylon gasket should also be replaced when it is seriously deformed.

(3) check the injection pump body installation plunger coupling scapular plane whether there is a depression deformation, such as unevenness will affect the verticality of the plunger sleeve installation and the sealing of the scapular fitting surface, causing poor sliding plunger and fuel leakage

(4) Check the wear of the roller body hole and camshaft cam of the injection pump body and decide whether to continue using or replace them depending on the severity.

(5) The flying iron foot and the flying iron pin hole should be replaced if they are seriously worn, and the difference in weight between the two flying irons should not exceed lg after replacement.

(6)The rest of the parts should be replaced if they are severely worn, defective, broken, etc.

The function of injection pump is to increase the pressure of diesel generator set and deliver fuel to the combustion chamber at regular and quantitative intervals according to the requirements of the working process of diesel generator set, while the governor is a device that automatically adjusts the fuel supply of injection pump. It can automatically adjust the fuel supply of the injection pump according to the change of the external load of the diesel generator set, so that the diesel generator set can run at a more stable speed, thus ensuring that the diesel generator set will neither produce overspeed nor cause shutdown at idle. Injector pump and governor disassembly and installation in addition to ordinary tools also need special tools, in the process of disassembly and installation to keep the workplace, workbench, tools and parts of neat and tidy.

Disassembly of injection pump parts

First of all, remove the seal of the fastening plate, remove the tight seat of the oil valve and the oil valve spring in order, disassemble the oil valve coupling, due to the deformation of the oil valve nylon ring after use stuck in the pump body, you must use special tools to remove. Then pry up the plunger spring with a screwdriver to take out the spring seat, loosen the positioning screw of the plunger sleeve, and pull out the plunger coupling from above together with the plunger sleeve by jacking up the plunger with a thin iron rod.

If you only need to disassemble the camshaft of the injection pump, you can first insert a slotted plate between the timing adjusting screw and the nut, set up the roller body parts so that they are out of contact with the camshaft, and pull out the camshaft from the front end.

Disassembly of governor parts

Loosen the handle, take out the speed control spring, loosen the nut on the lever pin and the fixing screw of the rear shell, so that the speed control lever parts and the lever screw parts can be separated, and the whole rear shell of the governor together with the lever can be dismantled.
